Teaching Recovery Techniques (TRT) Online Training - October 2025

From 17-19 October 2025, the Children and War Foundation held a three-day online Teaching Recovery Techniques (TRT) training led by Helene Christie and Alba Banoun. The training brought together 19 participants from across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, including psychologists, counsellors, educators, and humanitarian workers. Through a blend of theory, demonstrations, and practical exercises, participants strengthened their skills in supporting children affected by war, displacement, and trauma. The course received excellent feedback (average rating 4.6/5), with participants highlighting the clarity of the materials, the trainers’ expertise, and the strong sense of international collaboration.
