Successful training at the Palestinian West Bank

In November, CAW completed a three day online training in the Children and Grief manual to Palestinian school councillors, teachers, social workers, principals and psychologist at the Palestinian West Bank. They attended the training in spite of several practical and security obstacles. The stories they are telling of the suffering of children in Gaza, but also on the West Bank are devastating and heart breaking. Their engagement and commitment to make a difference to children’s mental health are astonishing. The training was done in cooperation with The Center  for Applied Research in education in education in Palestine (CARE) and Professor Ian Barron at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
