Second Iranian-based project gets support

A second Iranian-based project receives funding from the Foundation. The study focuses on the intervention for traumatic grief in children and adolescents who have lost one or both parents during the recent war in Afghanistan.

Mehrdad Kalantari will conduct the project in collaboration with S.J. Ahmadi and S. R. Rezvani. The research team are located at the University of Isfahan 300 km from Qhom where the participants aged 13 to 18 years are located..

The efficacy of writing for recovery project will compare an experimental group with a waiting list control group. The study is planned to take a year.

The traumatic grief inventory for children will be administered for all the around 160 bereaved secondary school pupils. The inventory will be translated to farsi by Kalantari.
