Helping children in Sichuan

On May 12 it was the anniversary for the 2008 Sichuan earthquake which killed at least 80,000 people. The authorities have now released an official toll of the dead or missing schoolchildren: 5,335 is the number, according to the BBC.
In the same period, the foundation has trained around 170 intervenors, enabling them to help the children affected by the earthquake.Dr. Dyregrov responded to a request from China following the earthquake. He trained 120 in the first training in 2008, and followed up with a with a de-brief and training of 47 in Hong Kong earlier this year.
